Based on the frequency of first names in U.S. population according to Census data and popular names elsewhere in the world, rounded to the nearest 1/100th percent. Note that the Census creates the list based on the entire first name, and some folks have first names that sound more like nicknames. Enter Bob vs. Robert or Jim vs. James to get a sense of the issue.
